The valley took its name from the river passing through, is a beautiful trekking racecourse of 4100 Mt length. Yuo can walk through it for 3 hours with a comfy tempo. Baglidere is a tiny stream, dries during the summer and reborn during the springs and at the end of the winter. It has the direction from Uchisar to Cavusin. One edge of the valley is in Uchisar territory and the other one is within Goreme territories. The trekking generally has the same direction of the stream. The best point to start walking is the facility, located on the left side of Uchisar exit of Uchisar Goreme road. You may leave your car at the parking area of the facility with permission.
After 200 Mt from the parking area, the road is divided into two. The one on the left follows the valley from the top. It is more suitable for the ones who would like to take photos of the valley, to walk more comfortable and to ride bicycle. The one on the right goes into the valley. At the division point, there is a sign board to show the direction of the Baglidere valley. If you follow the direction of the sign board for 150 Mt on your left hand side a perpendicular foot path detaches and this footpath brings you into the Baglidere valley. Towards the end of the valley, there is an area where the fairy chimneys are intensive and magnificent. This area is really attractive. This part of the valley is called by the locals “Love valley” because of the shapes of the fairy chimneys.
It is also possible to reach to this part by suitable cars from the exit side of the valley. Some tourist groups come by cars and visit only this part of the valley. After Love Valley area, the valley continues as flat as possible and then it ends with the road which connects Nevsehir Avanos road to Goreme Avanos road. If you want to leave your car at the exit, this point is the suitable one. As you continus 100 Mt to right from this point you will reach Goreme Avanos road. If you turn to right to Goreme direction, after 2 Km you will reach to Goreme.
