The valley lies down between Urgup – Nevsehir road and GoremeOrtahisar road. You can enter the Zemi Valley from 10th km of Urgup – Nevsehir road. Here is known as “Babaccik” locality and it is on the foot of Kermir hill, 1516 Mt height. On this locality there is a sign board of “Zemi Valley  – 5600 Mt” and a kiosk selling souvenir. You can enter the valley directly by using this road but also you can take the road on the left going through the upper side; after a while this upper side road will turn to right and bring you to the valley. If you take this route, you will find the water spring as you enter the Valley. Along the valley you will see various fruit trees. Due to the season, it is possible to find plum, mulberry, cherry, pear, apricot and berry.

As you walk 2.5 Km along the valley, the foot path on your left hand side will bring you Karabulut Church of 11th century after 100 Mt walking. On the opposite direction after 200 Mt, you will see Sarnic Church. It was used as a cistern in the past; therefore the frescos situated over the water level are in good shape. It is also possible to reach this part of the valley, where the church is situated by the road over the Valley, from Goreme direction and being used mostly by the tractors.

During the trekking in Zemi Valley, 800 Mt before Goreme – Ortahisar asphalt, there is a triad parting ways. The direction sign boards can be seen there. If you take the straight one after 800 meters you will reach to the road next to kiosk and this will be end of your walking.
