Cappadocia climate

The altitude of the Cappadocia region is around 1100 meters. It has a continental climate where the summers are hot and rainless and the winters are cold and rainy. The winter starts from mid December and lasts until mid March and brings whit it snow, while the spring brings rain. Usually it doesn’t rain during the summer and autumn months.
